Meet Mesmerz! He's an interdimensional creature who practices sorcery and has taken residency amongst humanity. His antics may seem unusual and potentially scarring (physically and emotionally), but as long as you keep an open mind, he's sure to be that friend you will never forget! As you read through his adventures, you'll also meet a bunch of other hilarious characters including William, the human boy who is Mesmerz's loyal yet naive lab assistant and Harmony, Mesmerz's part-time pet and full-time lab assistant.

Mesmerz is a casual comic that I work on in my spare time. The idea started from a concept I had about making a "catharsis character." In other words, a character you enjoyed seeing succeed, especially against exaggerated circumstances. Inspired by the zany antics of animated cartoons and fantasy elements of Dungeons and Dragons and Harry Potter, Mesmerz became a reality! Similar to a TV show, I produce the comics in 20 episode "seasons" and upload them weekly on Fridays when a season is in session.

In this absurd mini-comic, a food blogger recaps her strange encounter with a bizarre, magical food truck. After sampling the enigmatic vendor's food, she has an experience that gives her an epiphany about the enjoyment of food.

This mini-comic was my first venture into the standard comic page format. It's also been exhibited in local art shows, including Comics As Art at Literati Press, an independent book publisher and store located in Oklahoma City.
